Hmm. lady weaver of yarns and POFFF web master? Well, I really ought to be a sylph-ondine, you know; one of those magical light beings with one foot on the earth, one foot in the sea, and both hands in the sky.
But as much as I may bring in those energies, I'm actually a writer and artist named Melanie Stinson, and a New York State-licensed massage therapist, Reiki Master (Usui, Karuna Ki) and CCT or Crystalline Consciousness Practitioner. I'm a graduate of Bowling Green State University (English, Psychology, Dance, Design) in Ohio; The Swedish Institute of Massage & Allied Health Sciences in New York City; and I did graduate work in Dance and the Creative Arts at New York University.
I use my energies (and the energy modalities I practice) primarily as a healing writer/artist, who happens to enjoy dancing--a lot.
I also happen to love film, theater, and am experimenting with ways to make "moving" meditations and take film in new directions.
I'd love kids, teens, and those young at heart to be frequent visitors to my Pofff site and women of any age and art lovers to visit my weaver of yarns site.
